Prof. Yitzak Lippin, is PROFOH Board member, an Israeli-American, a general and plastic Surgeon of global standing with background in general surgery dealing with soft tissue trauma, difficult wounds, burns, congenital malformation like cleft lip palate, soft tissue tumors and tissue reconstruction for almost three decades. Dr. Lippin has volunteered for several international organizations including – Doctors for Human Rights – through which he performed several bold surgeries in the West Bank for Palestinians refugees.

He is also faculty of Canniesburn Hospital Scotland and East Virginia Medical School, United States in Microsurgery and Aesthetic Surgery and advance reconstruction surgery. Dr. Lippen has served both public and private sector in Plastic and reconstruction surgery, he was chief clinical research manager Medgenices Biotechnology Company, a leading group involved in skin tissue genetic therapy.

He has participated in virtually all global meetings and summits in the field and development of plastic Surgery, member of several plastic surgery associations and societies including the International Society for Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery, fellow American Academy for Surgery San Diego, United States, Israel Society of Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgery, etc. He has written several books on plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Professor Lippin is a very active surgeon who has published several papers and books, an instructor in breast reconstruction, flap courses, He has delivered Ethicon Micro surgery course in several medical institutions in Scotland, Israel and the United States. His humanitarian outreach is profound, he performed free medical mission in for the Palestine people in Gaza and several other countries including the recent surgical mission he led for PROFOH in Lagos-Nigeria.

According to Professor Lippin, he has decided to dedicate my surgical skills now to where it is needed the most by taking a break from comfortable western life and help vulnerable populations in developing countries.
