Professor Mahamouda Salouhou, PhD, is a highly accomplished scholar and educator with a diverse background in leadership, operational excellence, and entrepreneurship. In March 2024, he received the prestigious Nelson Mandela Professor of Leadership and Education Global Award, recognizing his significant contributions to the field.
Currently serving as a visiting scholar at various prestigious universities around the world, including KLEF in India and Université Moulay Ismail in Morocco, Professor Salouhou is also the President and Co-Founder of Jagora University in Cameroon and Djagora University in Senegal.
Professor Salouhou holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Medical Science Engineering from the University of Lille 2, a Master of Science in Social Strategy Development from the University of Lille 3, and a Master of Science in Industrial Management from SKEMA Business School. He earned his PhD in Global Leadership Education and Process Administration through a joint degree program between SKEMA Business School and the University of Washington.
With extensive experience in designing and implementing innovative educational programs, particularly in the areas of Lean Six Sigma, entrepreneurship, and international business, Professor Salouhou’s work has spanned across Europe, the USA, Africa, and Asia. He has collaborated with renowned institutions and organizations such as SKEMA Business School, MIT, and The Boeing Company.
Professor Salouhou’s expertise extends to curriculum design, professional certifications, and talent management, with a focus on fostering cross-cultural diversity and leadership development. He has been instrumental in developing and leading various EU-funded programs, such as the Young Entrepreneurs Teaching Initiative (YETI) and ProApp, aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship education and apprenticeship standards.
In addition to his academic roles, Professor Salouhou has been actively involved in consulting for companies like Boeing, where he has contributed to the design of innovative training programs and professional development initiatives for a global workforce. His commitment to social entrepreneurship and education is evident through his involvement in various non-profit organizations and initiatives aimed at empowering communities and promoting diversity.
