Mr. Mansur Arif Shamsi is an Indian with vast experience in journalism, ICT, international trade, economic empowerment of marginalized population and peace building. He started his career as a Journalist in Mumbai and was associated with leading newspapers like The Daily, Independent, Blitz and national television, as his stint as a field reporter he saw it all, got exposed to social dislocations, Marginalization, Crime, Brutality, Poverty, etc.

He then moved further in the information technology field of computer networking,  joined SIFY Ltd,  India’s leading Internet Service provider in 1999 and worked for a decade. Mr. Mansur has been known by his friends and colleagues as a strategic thinker, resourceful and creative problem-solver where he demonstrated his ability to manage turnkey projects from planning through execution/completion under the pressure of fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.

Mr. Mansur is the CEO of Comfort Designs Inc. in India – a Consultancy firm which innovated successful business designs in the micro manufacturing and service industries mostly operating in large numbers in the rural Indian villages in the Karnataka State. He is also an empaneled consultant for the Cluster Development Program – a scheme which is sponsored by the Ministry of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) – Government of India, for Common Facilities Centers (CFC) which help in rural development, employment generation and overall economic growth.

He is the currently the CEO of A 2 Z Universals FZ LLC company, formed in 2019 in RAKEZ – UAE. With his vast experience in the UAE and gulf region and having knowledge of the processes involved in setting up companies for business development, he has joined as a Referral partner with Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), for promotion of import and export companies to get business licenses for new entrepreneurs and established business entities all over the world and to help Cluster Associations from India to promote, market and sell their products  worldwide with UAE as hub location.

Mansur joined PROFOH in 2019 as Country Director – India and has been deeply involved in social upliftment activities and its related soft intervention training programs in India and is in process of promotion of Education activities in the GCC region in the spirit of PROFOH vision and values. Mansur is now the Country Director for UAE with an accreditation as the Regional Chairman for the GCC – Gulf region since August 2021 and has been actively helping the PROFOH’s cause and promoting its values.

As a purpose driven-person with strong leadership skills, Mansur has more than two decade’s effort and contributions in being engaged in freelance journalism, education, training, project management, cluster development with Ministry of MSME – Government of India, for economic empowerment and the well-being of vulnerable populations.
