Dr. Gbemuotor Kama is current Executive Director of the organization, a Nigerian and founding Board member of the organization. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Anglo American University in Prague, Czech Republic and attended Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt for his master degree program. He had additional training as a Physician Assistant, Public Health Administration, Emergency Care including a doctorate degree in Medical Science from Commonwealth University, London- United Kingdom.
He possesses 30 years of international development interventions with additional experience in all aspects of non-profit administration, cross cultural appreciation and sensitivity. He has delivered several lectures and attended international workshops and conferences across the globe. He is widely traveled throughout Africa, Europe, and South America, as the Executive Director of the organization, he represented PROFOH at international events, such as the United Nations conferences/workshops in Marrakesh, Morocco; Amman, Jordan; Dubai, UAE; Athens, Greece, Vienna, Austria, etc.
On behalf of PROFOH, Kama has received several letters of commendation/goodwill messages from world leaders like President George H. Bush, President Bill Clinton, Koffi Annan former Secretary General of United Nations. He internationalized the operations of PROFOH to 30 different countries. He has furthered the education of many students from West Africa. Since 2010, Kama has been helping the Royal Commonwealth Society London in the promotion of their programs to schools and teachers in Ghana and Nigeria. Additionally, he has represented several universities internationally and also a board member of Jagora University in Senegal and Cameroon, ranking Goodwill Ambassador of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Delta State Nigeria.
In July 2012, he served as the regional coordinator for West and Central Africa (25 countries) for the United Nations Convention Against Corruption Coalition (UNCAC). He currently sits on the Board of several organizations across the globe. These include: Stand Up Project based in London, Grow International with headquarters in Washington, DC, Board Member, ECOWAS School Project, Accra Ghana, Chief Development Adviser Tarka Local Government Area, Benue State Nigeria, Member Africa Director of Climate Sustainability, SGoT, Zurich-Switzerland, Director of Partnership, Pan Africa Small and Medium industries, Kigali-Rwanda, Member, United Nations Water Mandate, Hub Stockholm Sweden, Member, Global Thinkers Forum, London – United Kingdom,, Board Member, General Group Foundation, Zurich – Switzerland and many more. Dr. Kama is also a certified United Nations Volunteer with Roster No.484254. He speaks German, Czech and currently divide his time between Accra, Ghana and Abuja Nigeria. He is married with children.
