Dr. Alexander Rochlitz is a German, an academia as he served as Faculty at the European University in Hamburg for many years. Alexander is the CEO of Rochlitz consulting firm and Board member PROFOH Germany. He is also a renowned Waste Management Expert with compassion to people living in the developing countries having learned about the crucial importance of sanitation and hygiene to a healthy society and strongly believes that the WHO and UN studies are very clear in stating that there is direct correlation in between hygienic and efficient waste management and disease incidences as Cholera, Malaria, Dengue, Typhus, etc. Most of these diseases are transmitted by animals and viruses that have found in waste.

Alexander has been working in the circular economy business in Germany for more than two decades now. He is a world class consultant, along with his consultancy team, he has developed and implemented several total waste management solutions all over the world (Mecca, Mexico City, Medina, Panama City, Dubai, Germany, etc.) which has been a challenging task, as the take away of all these successes is governed by taking into consideration local framework conditions and requirements in each individual country (climate, demographic structures, politics, culture, financial restrictions, etc.)

He believes that professional waste management impacts society on cleanliness and hygiene promotes public health, affects local labor market and education positively and enhanced poverty reduction activities, lastly, it leads to a substantial reduction in water pollution and related diseases.

He has travelled extensively across the globe and is fluent in German, Spanish and English conversable Arabic, French Finish and Swedish, Alexander equally have some values he stands against they include social injustice, poverty and starvation which are in line with PROFOH’s values.
